I was not born a photographer. I was born the child of people who had traveled from South to North and East to West. As a young tennis player, I was exposed to traveling around from tournament to tournament. The one thing I mostly remember is always having my camera with me at all times. I would have never imagined that one day; I would find passion getting on planes, trains, cars and boats and capturing different people, places, and customs at different times. My eyes, my camera, and my right attitude able me to relentlessly capture precise moments of still life, portraits, animals, architecture, and landscapes.
The naturalist Henri Cartier-Bresson believed that all edits should be done when the image was made. It inspires me, and I too, add more time to post production. I want to communicate through my photos that I have discovered that we can go places and see people we never could, not just geographically, but through the eyes and heart of someone else – the photographer – myself.
